Patriots? Really?

We discuss the poll over at Kerodin.com, in which more than 1/3 of you consider ATF Agents Cefalu, Dodson & Dobyns to be Patriots.

Violence is coming, the Enemies of Liberty are setting the stage.  They have a plan.  They want a free-for-all: It will be the “Tea Party” versus everyone else.

Would you really want Cefalu, Dobyns or Dodson at your shoulder, in your Tribe?  You’d better be clear who is on your side, because Lexington & Concord is coming, again.

Here is the column at Kerodin.com.

  1. That's just ridiculous.

Men who earn their living in an organization that exists precisely and solely to infringe upon the deliberately and explicitly spelled out rights of the people are not anything other than paid agents of oppression, mercenaries, or prostitutes.

They have either compromised the principles of liberty or have never understood them.

Just because they “blew the whistle” does not change what they are.

  2. I am just amazes me that 38.5% of the voters consider them Patriots.

Are that many of your readers, that stupid? Or are Agents Provocateur possibly voting in the poll to skew the results?

But, I do not want any of those traitors standing next to my shoulder. In my tribe, we are patriots.

  3. Honestly, I think the reason you're getting the response you have been (and I did not vote on the poll for this reason) is the alternatives you provide.

Yes, I understand it's a 'black and white' issue for you. Apparently, though, it's not for almost 40% of your responsdents.

First, you cannot be a 'traitor' to an Amendment to the Constitution. You can violate it and then be guilty of 'breaking the Law of the Land', which should have penalties. You can be a traitor to a Nation or your 'tribe' by betrayal or aiding/abbetting those levying war against it, just as the Constitution states.

Second, in order to be a Traitor, under the Law of the Land, as you know, there are certain conditions that must be met, and it this case, about 40% of the respondents don't believe they have been.

Does the BATFE's existence violate the Constitution? Absolutely. Do its employees violate their Oaths to support and defend the Constitution with the first action taken against a citizen's exercise of the Second Amendment? Most assuredly. Has the BATFE committed one or more categories of homicide in the execution of its duties? Without doubt. And each person ordering or participating should be brought to justice under the Law of the Land. Complete with all the checks and balances we provide under the 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendments to any accused.

I'd be willing to wager that if you had worded your stem a bit differently and allowed for a 'law breaking' or 'violator of the Constitution' choice, you'd probably have 100% of your respondents in that area.

I know, I've posted this (or something very similar) before.

Words have meaning, and from that meaning comes acdtion, and action leads to end result.

    Thanks for allowing the input.

  5. Thanks, everyone.

My position is that when a Citizen deliberately violates the innate Rights articulated in the Bill of Rights, or deliberately chooses to employ distorted definitions of General Welfare and Interstate Commerce, as just 2 examples, those individuals are committing Treason, as undermining the fundamental nature of the Constitution surely results, as we see today, in the overthrow of the republic.

One can levy war through the ballot box, manipulation of fiat currency, and many other means.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

It is black and white, and those who choose to indulge the shades of grey inhibit the defense of the republic. The Marxists among us are levying war against the republic by violating the Constitution…they are Traitors.

  6. Allen,
I'm gonna guess what you see in those men you mentioned, but are unsure of above, is their belief in Christ as their Savior.
I could be wrong, but don't think i am. Peace to you my man. Eternity is all that matters. And i stand with every one of you in EVERY WAY!
